My one comment about mirrorless cameras is the old Mazda Rotary comparison.
When the rest of the industry sticks with conventional shutters and mirrors in SLRs, do you really want to go down to path that few have tried? There is a reason for the big boys to all use the same basic technology. It works and is reliable.
The Mazda rotary engine is cool, but it no matter how hard Mazda has advanced them, the just wear out too fast and suck a lot of gas. Draw your own conclusions.
