From what I’ve seen they are still mediocre trucks with great powertrains. My father in law is a contractor, he put about 100k on a 2014 (I think) 1 ton dually quad cab with a flatbed, bought almost brand new. Six speed manual, needed two clutches and had some odd intermittent engagement issues going neutral to first that required restarting the engine. The main fuse box caught fire at least twice stranding the truck. He had several major ECU issues, the front end needed fully rebuilt before 100k, and a host of other little things. He liked the truck but it was always in the shop for something, and he knew several others with similar results. They are also quite small inside compared to the Ford, and the interior feels really cheap.
