It is a Canadian show but loving it is a Minnesota thing. Maybe it helps that it comes on way late at night on public TV on Saturday nights and I'm a little loopy from a long week at work and lack of sleep. My favorite character is Ranger Bob.

Red Green and The Industry are both CBC imports and share some characters and production. The shows aren't similar at all but you can see some common DNA.
To prove the OP's point, the entire run of The Industry is on YouTube. Episode 1, season 1 is by far the most popular and has been viewed 21,000 times. Episode 2 was viewed about 7,000 times. Mostly by me, apparently. By comparison, a run of the mill funny cat video clip has been viewed 16 million times.
