These used to be $20 at gun shows in Canada in the early 80's. I recall barrels of them at gun shows. The problem? No ammo (at the time).
We had one with a bayonette hanging above the fireplace in our family room from about 1980-1986 when we moved. My dad sold it to a teenage friend of mine in about 1987.
Now, you can get ammo and they are actually quite accurate and shoot 7.62x54 rounds. I've shot one and it pierced 3/8" thick P-110 well casing (in and out).
Pretty cool.
