2" on snow on the ground and my garden is still sod, but the onions arrived today. I have apple trees in the basement waiting for the ground to thaw so I can plant them.
This winter is killing me.
We ordered 100 plants this year.
Last year we ordered 150 and we still have about 10 pounds of them left, and that's after my grandsons and I used about 10 pounds as ammo for our 3 man slingshot. We had a dry spell in June, and some of them stopped growing, then started again. About half of them have the brown "paper" wrapping in the middle of the onion - strange.
