I am trying to replace the cr220 radio in my ‘02 boxster. The original radio quit, so my local independent tech gave me one he had laying around. I Took out the old one, slid in the new and when it asked for the code, I put in the code that was written on top of it that was supposed to be correct for that unit. After three tries it locked me out. I waited until it would let me try again so I tried the code for the original radio. No luck. Tried the correct one again twice and locked out again. The serial number for the replacement one is X5013131 and the code is supposed to be 0343. Can anyone help me here? Thanks.
