Agree my 2 post measured out at 11'-11" but it didn't count the rams which stuck out 2.5". I lucked out as the steel clad ceiling could bend just enough and I didn't hit on a truss.
My shop is a pole barn, steel clad inside and out, fully insulated and heated with 100amp service, that I built myself over a summer.
