I was impressed with the overall quality of the 1944 B&W film
Kato hayabusa sento-tai (1944) - IMDb shot during the war.
Some of it has superb scenes about a grown kid just flying his Nakajima Ki-43.
The film is still 1940s though... Slow and boring by today's standards.
I saw it once with subtitles somewhere.
Not sure if available still.
