I used to refer to most of my in-laws as outlaws because ... reasons. Almost all of them have passed now.
My one surviving brother-in-law is a good guy. He and my late father-in-law are the only ones of the bunch who I would allow to drive my cars/trucks.
Way back when I first got my 911SC it was pretty nervous to drive - the tires were old and rock hard. My B-I-L had driven my TVR plenty so I had no reservations letting him take the 911 for a ride. He never asked to drive it again.
Years later he told me that he went into a sharp right hander to fast, lost traction at the front tires, backed out of the throttle and snap - spun. He ended up stalled and facing the wrong way, but in the middle of the road.
No harm done, but he said he about stained his pants.
