I rarely if ever see any 1970 914s for sale.
If they say no rust then they are not looking hard enough. I'd seriously need to see this baby on a lift or something. 914 inner rockers always scare me. So does the trunk area.
Looks like my first 914. That was oh...30 years ago.
If it was clean I see that $8K would not be out of whack...remember these cars creep up on you and all those pieces and parts and fuel system are no different in price from a 911.
1970 would make it valuable to me, as the early cars don't often show up for sale. Plus it's the year I was born.
The paint looks to be redone for sure. I don't like the chrome wheels...but this is easily fixed.
