Looks like my first 914. That was oh...30 years ago.

If it was clean I see that $8K would not be out of whack...remember these cars creep up on you and all those pieces and parts and fuel system are no different in price from a 911.

1970 would make it valuable to me, as the early cars don't often show up for sale. Plus it's the year I was born.

The paint looks to be redone for sure. I don't like the chrome wheels...but this is easily fixed.
I gave one away 5 years ago. Had a bunch of appearance group Parts and under 100k mi. Needed paint and a door but no rust. I was moving and it had been parked ten years when I bought it. Kept the bumble bee and let a friend take the other. Feels dumb now.
