Happy Birthday Matt. Yeah, the first ride. Amazing how those first emotions and impressions are hard to get rid of in an entire lifetime - and how much they influence you in your ways for decades. How those early rides with all the sounds, smells, and whatnot got me into trouble with my almost all my future purchases.
The first 911 ride I had was a SC Targa, and the first 911 I drove was a 911T Targa - so that made me a Targa guy - as I now find coupes too claustrophobic. I am one of those guys that find the Targa more pure than a coupe - and the experience of a Targa much more satisfying with all the extra noise.
