I am in the middle of a large project. It has over 30 grount control points, put down by the client. They are a survey company. They laid down large white X shaped targets on the ground and give us the exact GPS location in X, Y & X down to 10th foot accuracy. Then I have to find that target in the photo by "zooming out" find what I think is the white X and zoom in. If it is indeed the X then center punch it with a tag and tell the program X marks the spot at that coordinate. It might show up in 12 or more images for each target. It is a long process of running the mouse wheel in and out.
No joke, my mouse finger is sore! Just like roofers, or professional wrestlers, I have sore muscles! I will have to take the afternoon off even if if does make my mean greedy boss mad. Heck, I was working last night until 10:30 or so so the afternoon off in 68 degree sunshine is fair compensation.
