Wow, Good Friday indeed. It was 68 degrees, clear skies, no wind, Monterey or San Diego’s weather. And I was forced to go to Hallett Motorsports track and drive a new Boxster, 718 Cayman, and a 911S. Well forced is not quite the right word.
It was fun, but we had to follow the leader and really only went 60 % of the car speed. The 718 sounds great, but the 911 has some acceleration. Wow. They all have great brakes but I never had to use but 25% of the stopping power.
Then we got a full speed lap as passengers in a Panamera Hybrid 4 wheel drive.
Fun day and I was forced to drive my 911 up and back.
