You may not but I will.
My yard on a fixer-upper I own. The lawn is bursting in springtime with purple blooms from creeping charlie, yellow blossoms of dandelions and stalks of beautiful white flowers on the large clumps of Stars of Bethlehem strewn throughout. I need to spray this spring because there is a few blades of fine fescue still peeking through that to distract from the native plants.
The hillside features black locust trees that have been specially bred to have hollow trunks, elms that have a life expectancy of about 15 years and half dead mulberries that litter the ground with purple berries every spring. It's home to many species of birds that leave gifts on everything within a mile covered in giant globs of white and purple poop for the first 2 months of spring.
Also features species plantings of poison ivy growing up the tree trunks and the ground is littered with broken concrete, old bricks, garbage from the neighbors and years of brush and debris from the neighbor uphill that has used the hillside as his personal brush dump.
