I'm really enjoying this look at the beautifully landscaped yards here, well done.

This new place here in the panhandle is needing some help. Other than nice trees it's pretty bare. Trying to come up with design and plant choices is a challenge in this new to me climate.

Yesterday I went on a wildflower hike in the park nextdoor. It was organized by the Fl trail club and guided by some very knowledgable folks both on plants and birds.
The walk included a boardwalk thru Cyprus waters, and some boggy areas that were loaded with varied wild flowers. It was amazing to see things thru the eyes of these folks. So much there That is easy to walk by without noticing.



Some small orchids and hat pin flowers.


This trumpet plant traps insects inside its stem.



It has a nice yellow flower
