have 87 conv.325i , stick. cannot connect alternator. has 3 wires at d+ area.

blue(12v),

blue yellow(~5 volts) and blue violet(~5volts). have connected blue to d+ , alt

doesnt charge. alternator is good, panel lamp(battery ) is good.

any help appreciated
