Just had a fun trip to Boyne Mountain in Michigan with 11 of my old college buddies. Unbelievable that we could get 12 of us together again after 30 years.
We are all around 50 years old and none of us ski much anymore. That said, a couple of us were still able to hit some big kickers in the terrain park. I was the only one crazy (or stupid) enough to attempt a helicopter on a smaller tabletop. It has probably been 15 years since I landed one of these successfully lol.
These modern day kickers are bit scary to hit the first few times in regard to judging proper speed. Myself and a buddy were likely the only guys in our 50's hitting them.... no one else appeared to be older than mid 20's.
On the last day two of our buddies decided they needed to try it... One was successful... One was not and landed short thus fracturing his heel bone on impact.
