The color is awesome in an aircooled 911 - my third Porsche - a '76 924 (made in early '76 that was a '77) was this exact color.

My feeling is that the mileage, the repaint, etc is going to ding it. Since these cars are well underway to being the next RS - the ones that are original are the ones to have, and when you're spending the money these now command you probably want them 1) with original paint, and 2) less miles, and 3) more original - and you don't care about spending another $50K to receive lower mileage and original paint.

Does the original color even matter if its now been repainted? I am not sure.

I'd peg it at $148K - and I think it would be worth that to the right person, but someone in this collector venue would want a collector car. So with that said, I still believe the original, low mileage cars will always win (they are out there), and this one, even as clean as it is it's going to be a hard sell to get top dollar like $200K. If the paint were original (even slightly worn) with other things, it just would bring more money. It just would.

These early 930s no longer straddle the fine line between collector and driver/hobbyist car - the money is so large that they are collector and aren't going back. Would I put $150K on this car? Maybe. But with the new paint and other things, I would probably take that money and put it on an original car.
