Easter egg hunt with the grand kids was a lot of fun. Christmas lunch for 40 under the trees near that lower flat grassed area was a very pleasant way to spend a sunny Summer day with family and friends.

As for help in the garden we have a young gardener who comes once a month for a day and does mainly the large scale weed and trim stuff. We are both pretty good with the hedging shears but he has all the gear for large scale stuff like ladders, long reach poles etc.

The couple who originally built the garden designed it to be relatively low maintenance. We use a lot of mulch for moisture and weed control in the garden beds and all the lawns have a flowing edge which means the zero turn mower can get to all the lawn without needing much hand mower or whipper time.
