The drawback of friendly bulls...
Our cows are spoiled. We treat them pretty well and we don’t brand or do anything else that would hurt them. They are a very quiet herd. We don’t have a cattle prod on the property.
The drawback of this is animals that won’t get out of the way...
Here our bulls decided to stop me while I was plowing snow so I could feed them. The big guy needed to have a scratch on my snow blade.
Then they decided to follow me which made backing up difficult...
And here I am feeding them with the little tractor...
I’m expecting our first calf of 2018 tonight...
