I appears, he did not eat a sock. He ate a package of socks. a few rubber bands, and an easter decoration . We have had him for over a year and to our knowledge, has never eaten anything other than food before .
The vet told us this is their most common procedure, and that yesterday, she pulled a rubber snake out of a dogs stomach.
Good news is , they got it all out with a camera and a grabber tool, no surgery, doggie is fine, and it only cost $1300.00 ouch...

LOL, it's the name. Our dog Zeke was a Siberian Husky with ice blue eyes. He once trapped a cat under the neighbors house. Only Zeke came out.
A funny Zeke story. We had a six foot hedge between our yard and the vacant lot next door. Zeke would routinely soar over the hedge into the lot. This usually occurred in the Spring when he got the urge to meet the ladies. He would disappear for days at a time. He was a fixture around town and everyone knew where he belonged. The police often brought him home in a police car or would call for someone to come get him from the police station where he would be locked in a cell. So one afternoon Zeke decides it's time to go. Up and over the hedge he goes. BAM! he slams right into a wall, knocked out cold for about five minutes. They had moved a house onto the lot.
