Adopted a Beagle in November from a family that had lost the father/husband. Very sad story.
Beagle weighed in at just over 40 lbs. We have greatly reduced the caloric intake and she has lost about 8 lbs.
She eats POOP! Yesterday our other dog was in the yard dropping a deuce and the Beagle runs over to watch and immediately tries to gobble it up.
