I have a "hidden" kill switch in both of my older cars.
Another problem is if your car is easily seen where it is commonly parked, you are at risk. AHIK.
Car covers and secured areas to park or store your car, greatly reduce your risk of it being stolen. If a thief knows where to find your car, and wants it....
