what about this one? it seems heavy..i would need it to ride on top of my truck topper, i think there is a Yakima side post that helps you put one half of the boat up at a time. that is my next search.

Well it doesn't look like that sucker will keep you dry but more than that I wonder how stable it'll be with you sitting on top. Do you know how wide the beam is? If there is any boat traffic I see that thing getting unstable pretty quickly. Bear in mind that my kayak experience is white water not flat water.
