tells you what you need to know about the seller.

unless you can weld (well) and have the ability to convert for the 911 drive train, this car at that price is nuts. if you can't weld, there is likely $5-10k in rust repair waiting if you have a shop handle it. then there is the SWB-->LWB thing if you go that route. it all adds up quickly.

a 911 costs the same to restore as a 912, and is worth a lot more when done. you can find LWB rollers in decent shape for the price of this car. i bought my '73T roller with all the RSR body work already done for less than the ask on this car just last year.

i don't think it's worth any amount to someone who can't do all the work themselves, it just isn't going to pencil...
