-More than anything, they were tired! 3 games in 4 days  (5 games in the last 8). Many games were OT in the last 6 weeks. A lot of players had been working hard the last month or two.
-Also, some players just getting back from injury and haven't shaken the rust off yet.
I am hoping that their 3 day rests before game 1 against Tampa will recharge the batteries. We shall see. |
