My 2004 Durango Started rusting by 2005. By 2010 it was Swiss cheese but then the engine blew at 95k miles like they all do. Chrysler made a ton of excuses for the rust and engine but didn’t cover either. I kept it inside most of the time and took proper care of it.
My wife’s 2003 Honda oddesey had a tiny bit of rust around the wheel openings at 15 years and 270k miles. If someone hadn’t hit her and totaled the van, she’d still be driving it. From 200k to 270k, we hardly did any maintenance. It didn’t seem to care.
