It's an '87 VRF 700 Interceptor. Picked up from CL - about an hour drive, each way. Missing both sides front fairings - but discounted a fair amount off selling price so that will help fund replacements.
To save time, I just will tell you the final selling price was $900.
Details:
- ~68K on the clock
- Was running when owner parked it last year, according to him
- Has an issue with lock for fuel tank on top so will have to get new one of those
- Original paint (this was one of 2 colors offered from factory)
- Tires look good - charging battery right now
- Has owner's manual and tool kit
- Corbin seat (so guess that's aftermarket - will find an original for it at some point as this one looks a bit funky)
Overall I think she "looks" pretty good for her age!
Let me know if you have any questions. Otherwise will post again when I get her running.
Some of you know I have another one of these, also an '87) in a "speed yellow" re-paint. It's in the garage with a non-functioning clutch and I have not ridden it in a few years, but hoping to get her back going this year as well.
I know not everyone thinks this is a great model but I love them. I especially like the vintage aspect, if that makes any sense.
