Window problems
I have a 2002 325i and I'm having problems with window motors. I have replaced all 4 and am having trouble with the driver's window again.
![]() Does anyone have any idea why this is? My car is no longer under warranty so it costs me an arm and a leg to replace a motor every time it dies. The driver's window is just about dead. What should I do?

widow issues
i have an 04 325i, i have replaced two of the four window regulators in the last two months, are you replacing the motors or the regulators? i fear the regulators are of poor design. the motor however may be working too hard due to binding in the seal surrounding the glass on the sides. these parts are not too difficult to replace at home with basic tools. i did ask my local dealer about the regulators, he said they sell a lot of them, thats bad news! i did apply some grease to the regulator slides in hopes of helping them last longer, you may check the cable and slide to make sure it has sufficient grease, from the factory it does not have much. good luck!
