Rear Clunking sound

Hi,

I have a 2000 328ci and I am experiencing a clunking noise in the rear of my car whenever I accelerate normally and also when I ease off on the gas. If I am driving 20-30 mph in the city and I let off the gas, I hear a clunk. When I accelerate normally, I hear a clunk. If I try to accelerate very slowly, I can get by without hearing the noise. I have heard that there is a known issue where the transmission output flange can be replaced using the below kit. Not sure which is the good part number now.

Can you please help me confirm if this will fix my issue? If so, I figure I can also replace the guibo as well. Are there any other parts that might benefit from being changed as well if this is the issue?

Might want a quick under car inspection to confirm it is not an issue with the subframe. The E46s also had a few of these tear out and finding it sooner rather than later would be good.
