Hoses pop off the expansion tank

I just bought a 330ci that had recent work done on the cooling system. The upper hoses weren’t clicked on properly so I took it to a mechanic. $900 later they said everything was good, but then the bottom hose popped off the same expansion tank.

Before I trust it on the road again I want to have a plan in case another hose pops off.

1. Should I question the expansion tank?
2. Should I only trust the fit of an OEM replacement?

Take a look at the DIY tech article from our site to make sure everything was installed properly. What kind of hose were used?
