N52 Vacuum Pump
My 2007 E92 with the N52 engine started having a hard brake pedal. The brakes work just require a lot of effort. In try to diagnose the problem I connected a vacuum gauge to the vacuum pump to see if that was the culprit, reading was very low on the gauge but I cannot find a source for what is normal or expected value. Anyone have a suggestion.

Any brake booster requires a minimum of 18” vacuum to operate efficiently. Anything less than that will contribute to the pedal being harder to push.

Thanks for the fast response, is there a tech article on the website on how to replace? I can not find one.
