I have a 2008 E90 320i pre facelift. Intermittently, my turn indicator will not work. When that happens, the wiper will also not work. But this will come back a few mins later by itself. Sometimes, I can bring both back to life by switching on and off the auto wiper function. Any idea what could be causing this? Thank you in advance for your kind help.

The issue sounds like it might be in the steering switch assembly. Best bet is to test switch function using a BMW scan tool when the problem is present.
