Hello I have a problem I was driving on the freeway on a 2011 bmw 335i coupe and I got pulled over, I turned the car off a cop came up to the passenger side window I opened it half way, then when I gave him my paperwork which were in the glovebox through the window. He looked and let me go, I pressed the brake and pushed the start button but nothing happened at all, the car lost complete electric power absolutely nothing works, I thought I put my friends key so I checked but still nothing. I towed the car to bmw dealership they called me three days later saying they cannot detect the problem because it doesn't go pass the battery, but the battery has been replaced at a bmw Indy shop and was properly programmed and registered. What should I do, please help?' My car is out of warranty since I bought it used and it has 94xxx miles already. Oh and if it makes a difference I opened my air box earlier to look at the condition of the air filter which was completely used up and dirty so that needs replacing my car isn't manual. Please help

It is possible the new battery is faulty. If the dealer states that is your issue, i would start there. No reason to think they would steer you wrong.
