I have a 2007 328i, and it has a blown head gasket, along with a bad water pump. I would really appreciate it if there was a procedure for a head gasket job on an e90. It looks like some things are similar for these models, but I'd like some clarity on how to do this for an e90.

E90 models require many special tools and techniques. Not just the standard timing tools, but camshaft bearing cap alignment tools, etc. Best bet is to grab a repair manual that will list all the tool, this way you can see what is needed before jumping in.
I would grab a repair manual. It will have the procedure, special tools and torque specs. Give our parts specialists a call at 1-888-280-7799. - Nick |
