car stereo
my 1995 radio was failing so,,,,,, for christmas my wife had me a sony pull out installed with an amp, now its whining,,, how do i stop the whining!!!!!

Does the whining increase with engine speed? If so, you need to ground the stereo better. It would also be helpful if I knew what kind of car this is for...

How do you ground it better, it's a pullout, is there some way to ground it in dash? Oh yeah 1996 740 il
