528it ABS problem
I have a 2000 528it that energizes the ABS system on a dry road. When I start the car, no 'ABS Brake' light is on the dash but when the brakes are applied the ABS system comes on pulsing what I think is a front brake. Then the 'ABS Brake' light comes on along with the Stability Control light and the ABS system stops working and I have good normal non-ABS brakes.
I'm guessing it's a wheel speed sensor that failed. Can anyone help me with a test procedure to diagnose a bad speed sensor? Do you think it may be something else? Thanks, Michael '99 323 '00 528 '83 911SC |
you should be able to get error code if you have a OBD II scanner, or take it into the stealer and pay them to read the code for you.
