PCV system?

Most US cars have PCV (positive crankcase ventilation) systems that require periodic replacement. Is there such a part or system on late model BMWs? I've got a 1998 528i and a 2002 325Ci.

Just checked with a buddy of mine who runs the BMW parts department here and he said he does not believe they use a PCV system as we know it, and he did say certainly nothing that requires it to be maintained. More tomorrow when he gets to work and does some more research. I doubt you have anything to worry about in terms of service.
