Recoding A Radio

Whenever the battery is disconnected on my vehicle and after power is restored it is necessary to enter a 5 digit code to get the radio working again. ...you may just wait awhile and try to recode the radio, look up in the bmw forum regarding recoding the radio, it seems to me it required the key to be on and the a series of key rotations or a specific amount of time for the code to take effect, or it may be if you disconnect the battery, it will drop the code again and you have to re start the process
