iPod adapter for 2008
I just bought my first BMW, a 2008 535xi, 40K miles, CPO certified. I pick the car up from the dealer on Thursday. The car does not have an iPod adapter. Is there an aftermarket adapter available? I have chedked ebay and the adapter only seem to be compatable with pre-2005 vehicles. I know the dealer will rape me if I have them install and OEM unit. Any suggestions?

I ended up with the dealer installed i-Pod adapter for $500. I do not regret it as it works perfectly with all dash and steering wheel controls.

Is it a stock head unit or is it and after market. cuz if its alpine they have the wire for 30 bucks and it sounds amazing. so if its stock go talk to your local audio place and see if they have an aux outlet they can plug in or what they can hook you up with. hope it helps.
