Rear brakes.....I know most of you stay away from the rear....for good reason. But that is a differrent subject.

Although the Geelong CC hugger appears to have an air scoop for the rear brake, there is an aerodynamic benefit to support the design and it also allows air flow to the final drive.

More on this later, after testing is finished.

If you follow the trail of dirt from the inside of the rear license plate to a position 90 degrees north of the rear of the hugger the remainder of the underside remains clean.

Test# 5 >run thru a puddle, see how it protects the underside!

Hey Robert, forget riding in a "puddle" Ride that sumb.itch in the rain for 2 hours and lets see how it operates!

Did you "engineer" this product or did Geelong Carbon Craft engineer it??

There is *some* slight drag on the rear brake disk from the brake pads and some people actually use the rear brake, thats prolly why theres a vent. If there wasnt a vent to help disperse heat then bad things can possibly happen. How is it gonna give "more air to the final drive" when its 3in above it??? If the final drive needed more "air" ya think BMW would add cooling fins or some other method for transferring heat.

Will this product fit a 5.5in wheel???

that nice hugger shouldn't be protecting that stock showa in the pics robert....let the dirt and whatnot destroy the stock showa that way whomever the owner is they can buy the goodens sooner...

This hugger is designed for the 180/5.5 set-up. The CL of the wheel is = to the Cl of the hugger.
