about the r1200s

When will the R1200S be in show rooms...

&...

Will this portal start a R1200S like they did for the K1200S , or will it be part of these threads ( r1100s) ?

The BMW website says mid-2006 and my dealer says he has a build date of mid April and expected delivery in May.

...no need for a R12S forum, nobody on this forum will buy one, and the few that do will stay here to tell us how great it is.

I won't let some misguided ad campaign get in the way of buying a bike I want. Like most folks, I'll go see it...wheezle a test ride, let the lust fester for a month or 10 and get one, new or very slightly used. The hard part will be deciding what to do with my stable....sell one or keep three bikes? Decisions decisions.

Yeah,....I want whatever he's smoking. As was already said. This summer at the earliest. It will be a 2007 model and should hit the US hopefully by June/July.

We had the 2 BMW/NA IMS R1200S's at our shop last week,....but they have not decided to put one into Demo status yet. So maybe by Mid-March they will make one of them a demonstrator for the BWM Demo Semi that will be making its rounds this summer for all of you to get a shot at a test ride.

BobBro take it easy on yourself, more is better, you have no issues accept maybe storage space until you get at least double the the slecetion and more from where you are at.
I found the 1100Sa was a good guest bike this last summer.

Rumor is it isn't. At least until there are some better fuel standards in place.
