Another HPS Sport on Ebay

If this has already been posted, my apologies (I didn't find it).

item number 110294822412 in Boston

I wonder if it would cost less than $4000 to get it shipped over here?

I know it costs about $1000 to ship to Europe. (keyword: ship, as in boat!) A little more by airplane.

Have you thought about fixing the headlights so they are road legal for Aussie roads? Might be a problem to get parts!?
Othervise, go for it! ;-)

In 2004 I sold a 916 to a guy in New Zealand. He found an importer who made monthly trips to the US, and collected bikes and shipped them in sealed shipping containers leaving out of Los Angelos to Wellington. Since I didn't make the connection I don't know who he used, but he had a US contractor come by and get the bike. I have a ton of emails that might be useful if you really wanna know.

This is a non-ABS option bike. What kind of import fees would you have to pay on a bike that only has a certificate of origin?

Does have the ABS. Error corrected.

When will people learn that "buy it now" makes 99.9% of people on ebay want to do exactly the opposite, and completely ignore the item? ebay was made to be an auction site, where you bid, which takes advantage the natural human desire to WIN! I would have bid on this thing if it were an actual auction, and had a lower starting bid, but for some reason I just cannot stand "buy it now". I wont be surprised if it sits there for a few months, and has to be removed because nobody buys it.

Proof of what? That "buy it now" doesn't work for most people? How often have you seen the same item that is "buy it now" only, sit for months, untouched? In any event, proof isn't required to see that ebay is an auction site, and "buy it now" is not an auction, it's no different than a retail store.

I only buy on ebay if the price is right and it has a buy it now option. I have been pissed off by people using snipe bots too many times to even bother. Fech the auction stuff. If you have something to sell I want to have, I'll buy it from you. If you insist on going through the whole auction sharade, find some other fool to play with.
