Got my led turn signals via UPS from Max BMW N.H. store thanks to Rose. They arrived Tuesday and I put them on last night. Rears were easy, right front a little more of a deal but the left front required loosening all of the tank shroud bolts/screws and slightly shifting it to access the connection.

They really do look nice, work like a charm and are the ones that should have been there when it left the showroom.

I haven't gotten mine yet. I hope your description of left side accurate. I have attempted adding/changing parts with various BMW's and what starts off as a SHOULD BE A 5 MINUTE project ends up being a CF (not carbon fiber) taking an afternoon or more.

We BMW owners Luke are deprived of the joys that Harley owners have. That is, an almost infinite number of things, parts, etc. that can be done to their bikes. Heck, adding LED's a big deal, so I'm pleased with the change. Also, I think I can now take my shorter stem turn signals and exchange them on my '07 ADV for a new, AND EXCITING, look.

The rear ones each have a zip tie that bundles the excess wire. The female connection clips onto a plastic tab that hangs down from the CF support for the taillight unit. I just clipped the zip ties and things became more clear as to how to get the connectors down. The right front connector is zip tied to a small CF loop inside of the fairing, pretty easy. The female connector of the left front is attached to an electronics box (?) mounted to the frame. The connector is mounted between the module and the fairing. I fussed with it for 15 minutes trying to avoid taking the tank shroud off to no avail. The shroud can be a bear to get back on with aligning the holes and not having the spring clip "nuts" slide out of the way for reinserting the screws. I could probably do it again in 30-40 minutes but I'd set aside an hour from start to finish. Use the left over time to stand around and admire the finished product.

My four went on the HP2 S and were all the same. When I look at the fiche picture at Max BMW for the incandescent turn signals for the R12S it looks like the base for the rear ones will work just fine. The base for the front is a bit different but if you already did the front and they worked I'd say to go with two of the 63137708048's for the rear.

I bought a set of these on the back of my R1100S. The LED array includes a strip of yellow thru the middle that are tied to the turn signal. Fits perfectly in the OEM housing

I noticed RoLoo's R1200s came stock with lights w/a clear lens. My R1200s (manuf 6/06) has a yellow lens . Anyone else get a stock R1200s with clear lens?
