Alex Zanardi Rides Monza

For those of you that don't know, Zanardi was involved in a horrible accident in CART and had both his legs severed. Since then, he's done some test/demo laps in an F1 car, raced in the World Touring Car Championship (even won races!), and now going FAST on 2-wheels.

not bad.
doug henry is in a wheelchair because of a racing crash and these days he's riding his modified dirt bike and snowmobile.
he STILL goes faster than most of us.

Wow that guy is so inspirational. One of my hero's for sure.

But I think he should be riding a Ducati.

I was wondering how Doug Henry was doing. Wasn't much being really being said about him since his accident. I just saw the shot of him riding his special bike (in one of the moto mags). That was great so to see. He's such a cool guy.

Both these guys are beyond hero status in my book.

Great to see.
Alex is an extraordinary guy, I met him years ago when he was racing Champ Cars for Ganassi, and my brother carried the Olympic torch on the same day as him in Padua in 06. He is now retired from racing touring cars and is training for the Paralympics in London.
