As quoted by anyone riding Campy brakes, "Brakes are for slowing. Not stopping." Gravel and other off road requires discs. As to extra effort, electric WF takes care of effort. I have them on my new Pivot Vault gravel bike and they are wonderful. All my road bikes are Campy rim brakes.

Neat, how does it ride?

I cashed in my business credit card rebates and got a free cargo ebike from Alibaba.
It's a RadRunner+ clone with 7 speed, 750w hub motor, 1100w peak output, 5 level PAS, two batteries with combined 36Ah capacity.
Hydraulic fork & brakes, LED front & rear lights (brake light activated by brake lever), metal front basket (not installed).

How do you like the Pinion?? I was thinking of one of these gearboxes for a touring bike.

Pinion gearbox & belt drive under $2k.
So far, I have just been shifting manually, but programing the Pinion gearbox it can shift own, even upshift automatically when you come to a stop.
Fun ride.
