Should have taken a pic of my 80's vintage Schwinn World leaned against the fence as I walked home for the 2nd time this year with a flat tire!

Guess I need to start carrying some tools and a patch kit!

Jon, great shot of your son living dangerously!

Just started riding again this year. Turned 60. Thought this might slow down the clock.

Here´s my daily driver. I redid my old bike and it ended up looking like this. Brooks classic leather
saddle and grips and Copenhagen parts Bike Porter handlebar/basket. Frame painted with rust paint
and white rims.

Hope you like it.

Better be an old coaster brake hub.. as there are no rim brakes.

Hey, I have a bike.

Usually these come with a motor...
CF frame courtesy of Bianchi via ebay started me down a slippery slope.
Assembled piece by piece about 4 years ago with Record titanium + some other CF stuff. 14lbs without tools etc.
If we had 32 hour days and 64 week years, I might be a better rider.

RBMann, what's the story on the bike stand? I assume it's NOT mounted to the bike?

You never seen one of those stands? We used to have a bunch of them. The only downside is they rubbed the paint/decals below the bottle cage. When I was very young I could ride the BMX bike on one like a no resistance trainer. Boing boing boing...

Those crafty Germans are at it again, how cool is this a gearbox for a bicycle! This has got to be the coolest cycling innovation I have seen since suspension. Fricking brilliant!!! I predict this is our future!

no road bikes yet, the roadies will still need to debate disc brakes for another few years before they can jump on this technology!

Before or after they fail?

Looks nice but the hardtail in the top picture is over 25.5 pounds.

On my side I got back to more serious mountain biking this year since I bought a cottage near Mont Ste-Anne. I bought that last Friday. Carbon fiber frame, seat, seatpost, bars and stem. Carbon fiber rims as well. 29" wheels of course. 22.25 lbs. Sram XX. Love it!

Doesn't really show my bike that much, but some people can appreciate this.

Cool video I made with go pro. Bicycle content. Yes I am wearing shorts here too.

It's kind of like the HP1258S of the bicycle world!
