Some snaps from today's ride...

Did a couple of hundred miles today, what a nice ride, but a little chilly in the very early part of the morning! I didn't stop to take as many pix as usual because I wanted to see if the Corbin saddle was good for a long, long ride. It passed with flying colors, the bike is supremely comfy!

These first two are just beauty shots of my baby, showing one of my fav roads in the background, and the Santa Monica Mountains stretching away to the west.

and a few snaps of the 8am action at the Rock Store...

and last but not least mine with HP2 #70133 (owner was no where to be found!)

These are not maybe to everyones taste, but I thought they were a nice pair of specials. They are from a place called RetroSBX, and cost around $55k each!

I dig that Kawi-not so much the Streetfighter.
Went for a ride today with the little woman who can still ride just not that far. Shreddr was busy and my ST3 friend, who knows if he's ever going to ride again.
We did a quick 75 miles through the twisties in about 90 minutes. A little chilly with the temps around 50-52 degrees but she hung in there pretty good.

Bubba...agree. I bet when he waves it looks likes he is flipping you off or maybe a peace sign.

I did a long 15 mile round trip today....drooled over my buddies new 1198r corsa....what a bike.

Semi-kinda-partial-hijack...

Did a little bit of a ride today as well... turned adventurous rather quickly...

The world as we know it, was still a fun place...

...a short break in the dunes, Steeper than it looks, actually.

...then it went to hell in a handbag, quickly. THAT, is not a good idea!

FOR SALE, CHEAP! Husky 510, CA Street legal... PayPal money and we'll send you the GPS coordinates. That's what it looked like after about an hours worth of trying to get the darn thing out again...

Tow-Truck guy came out with his Kawasaki Mule and we winched it out... abut 5 hours after the puddle hop, it looked like this!

Hell, that looks messy, but if it makes you feel any better I got lasered today, 57 in a 35. The LEO really looked like a piggy, all chubby and full of himself, and sooo happy to have busted a biker riding something he couldn't - what a dick!

I guess you were happy you were not on your GS?

Did that area look like hard pack? And then just give way as you went in?

I don't think I will complain so much about our roots and rocks anymore.

Yes, that's the driveway. It's a long walk to get the mail/newspaper in the rain or even longer when it needs snowblowing. But a great walk on a sunny day.

No, I switched to Gator mulching blades that are thicker/stiffer and hold their edge longer, Autolite spark plugs and, and....I guess that's it.

But it's the only 4-wheel independent suspension zero-turn on the market:

Wasn't me, mister B... I just stood and watched in awe about the fact that my buddy was even contemplating... and then burst out in laughter when he did actually go for it.

It did not look like it was that deep and he actually wanted to go up high... trouble was, it was as slippery up high as it was down in the pit...

Took 5 hours and some getting lost in the desert to get the bike out again... funny thing was, once he reached civilization and explained what happened everyone pretty much knew the hole... apparently, he was not the only one who had to be towed out of there over the past week or so...
