Alrighty, then.
Let's go for a ride. August 21, Saturday. Meet at Cody's (Hollister&Turnpike) at 8am for breakfast. Ride all day and all over the place. Gimme and head count. Route to be posted later but will probably include parts of Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, Kern and Ventura counties. Potential for dual sport/off-road riding at every turn. We ALWAYS find a places to eat. Not a problem. And, oh yeah, this wasn't in the original plan for the year, so it's not really a full Crown, more like a half-Crown.

Thinking about youse guys, would love to be on the ride. Between traumatic life experiences in the last year and some serious hand surgeries, the R11 has been languishing.
Finally started riding again a few weeks ago, only to have the front frame tab that supports the fairing snap off. Beemer Boneyard to the rescue. (making lemonade out of lemons) Never look at a site like that after you've had a cocktail. Suddenly finding myself being deluged with a bunch of upgrade goodies

Hi Jeff,
Just wondering if it's OK for me to join all of you for the Saturday ride from Santa Barbara? Rode with you on the Triple Crown ride in June (the Ducati Multi) and had a great time. Not sure if the planets will all align so I can make it but would like to get the OK if I can swing it. Richard Kendall is working in Oklahoma at the moment, so he's not able to make it. Outside possibility one other riding buddy with comparable riding skill could make it also. No idea what's going to happen by Saturday but let me know if it's OK for us to join you. Paul don't listen to sergio he is bitter because society has pushed him to marrying above the legal age limit instead of the girls he usually dates when he is teaching drivers training.
